Catering

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available in Hall every day in term.  Meals are served from the counter, other than the two or three Formal Halls per term, where students are served at the table (with some students acting as servers each time).  All meals are charged at £3.50 each.

All residents are asked to pay a £600 catering charge at the start of Michaelmas term; this will provide 180 meals in the Hall over the year.  Additional meals in the Hall can be booked and paid for as required once those meals have been taken.  The college provides a vegetarian option at all meals, and can cater for special diets.

Good self-catering facilities are available in the recently-upgraded accommodation blocks (those where rooms have private bathrooms), and near some standard rooms.  More basic shared kitchen facilities are available in the main college building, where all term time and most small standard rooms are located.  Pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and basic utensils are provided in each kitchen, along with fridges, freezers, kettles, microwaves and toasters.  Students are not permitted to have cooking equipment in their rooms for fire safety reasons.
